Self adhesive label, also known as self-adhesive label material, is a composite material with paper, film or special materials as the fabric, adhesive coated on the back and silicon coated protective paper as the base paper.
Due to a variety of coating technologies, self-adhesive materials have different grades. The development direction is from traditional roll coating and scraper coating to high-pressure tape casting coating, so as to ensure the uniformity and sensibility of coating to the greatest extent, avoid the generation of bubbles and pinholes, and ensure the coating quality. However, the technology of tape casting coating is not mature in China, Traditional roll coating is mainly used in China.
1. Surface material: it is the carrier of self-adhesive label content, and the back of the surface paper is coated with adhesive. There are many materials that can be used for surface materials, which are generally divided into coated paper, transparent polyvinyl chloride (PVC), electrostatic polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester (PET), laser paper, temperature resistant paper, polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), kraft paper, fluorescent paper, gold-plated paper, silver-plated paper, synthetic paper, aluminum foil paper, fragile (anti-counterfeiting) paper, textured paper, cloth label (tevik / nylon) paper, pearlescent paper, sandwich coated paper Thermal paper.
2. Film materials: transparent polyester (PET), translucent polyester (PET), transparent oriented polypropylene (OPP), translucent oriented polypropylene (OPP), transparent polyvinyl chloride (PVC), shiny white polyvinyl chloride (PVC), matte white polyvinyl chloride (PVC), synthetic paper, shiny gold (silver) polyester and matte gold (silver) polyester.
3. Adhesives: General Super Sticky type, general strong sticky type, refrigerated food strong sticky type, general re uncovering type and fiber re uncovering type. On the one hand, it ensures the proper adhesion between the bottom paper and the face paper, on the other hand, it ensures that the face paper can have strong adhesion with the paste after being stripped.
4. Backing paper material: release paper is commonly known as "backing paper". Its surface is non sticky with low surface energy. The backing paper can isolate the adhesive. Therefore, it is used as the attachment of face paper to ensure that the face paper can be easily peeled off from the backing paper. Commonly used are white, blue and yellow grasin paper or garlic coated paper, kraft paper, polyester, coated paper and polyethylene.
